Describe the people process you need. Get a working, governed application.

Talent Concepts is a new AI-native HR platform where every hire, review, raise, and policy decision is backed by an auditable record — and where your team builds its own processes in conversation, without a consulting project. We're inviting a small group of organizations to shape it as design partners before launch.

HR software makes you choose: rigid defaults, or a customization project.

If you lead People at a growing multi-state or transatlantic company, you know all four of these:

The implementation project

Adapting the big suites to how you actually work takes months of consultants — so most teams never do, and live with the defaults.

The spreadsheet shadow system

Anything custom — the promotion process, the comp cycle, the contractor onboarding — lives in spreadsheets and email, invisible to any audit.

Compliance is a memo

Pay-transparency rules, wage floors, and I-9 deadlines are enforced by someone remembering. Every new state or country adds another thing to remember.

Customization becomes upgrade debt

Every tweak you do make to the big systems is something that can break at the next upgrade — so the system ossifies while your company keeps changing.

A full HR suite where the rules enforce themselves.

Every module — hiring, performance, compensation, time, benefits, compliance — is built on one foundation we call the evidence spine. In buyer terms, that means five things:

One record of everything

Every consequential act — a rating, a raise, a policy change, even a refusal — is written to a permanent, append-only record. When someone asks "why did this happen," the answer is on file, not in someone's memory.

Rules that enforce themselves

A job posting missing a pay range required in that state doesn't post. An offer below a statutory wage floor doesn't send. The system refuses, tells you why in plain English, and records the refusal.

AI that drafts, never decides

AI writes drafts and proposals, always citing the underlying record — or saying "insufficient evidence." Every number that matters (merit, payroll, pay-equity math) comes from deterministic calculations AI can't touch.

Privacy floors built in

Data about small groups is never shown — anywhere, to anyone. A survey targeting a group too small to be anonymous can't even be created.

Built for a team of one

Designed for the Head of People who doesn't have an HRIS analyst, a comp team, or a compliance department — because the system is those things.

This isn't a slideware pitch. A complete working prototype exists today, and we demo it live on every call — twenty-five module areas on one architecture:

Roll your own process. Never roll your own controls.

On top of the suite sits the Builder: describe the process your company actually needs, and get a working application that runs on the same governed foundation as everything else. Here's what that looks like:

Describe it in plain language

"Managers nominate people for promotion, department heads approve, HR verifies the evidence, comp reviews the increase — and I want pay-equity concerns flagged before any offer goes out."

Review the plan — with every assumption on the table

Before anything is built, you see the full plan: who's included, who approves, what deadlines apply, what rules bind. Every assumption is labeled with where it came from — what you said, what your org data shows, what a regulation requires, what the system guessed. Guesses are marked as guesses.

It builds the application

Forms, approval chains, deadlines, notifications, reports — generated as configuration the platform runs, not code you'll ever have to maintain.

It refuses what's unsafe

An approval step where someone approves their own action. A process that would pay below a wage floor. A survey too small to be anonymous. These don't get built — you get a plain-English refusal naming exactly what to fix. A refusal is the product working, not the product failing.

Try it before it touches anyone

Walk through the whole process as a manager, as HR, as an employee — on a realistic synthetic organization, before a single real person is affected.

Deploy with a named approver — and one-click rollback

Nothing reaches your real organization without an approval, and every version is kept. Rolling back is one click, and even the rollback is on the record.

What you can't do — on purpose

You can build any process. You cannot turn off the audit record, see another company's data, let AI compute pay, hide results about small groups, or quietly override a legal floor. Those aren't settings — the system has no way to express them. That's the point.

We're selling this before we finish building it — on purpose.

We're recruiting four design partner organizations (roughly 200–1,000 employees) to shape the production build. If the ideas on this page made you nod, this is the moment your input has the most leverage.

What partners get

  • Free use for twelve months — no license fee during the partnership.
  • Direct access to the founders. No account team, no ticket queue.
  • Your processes built first: the Builder's early capacity goes to partner needs.
  • A shadow run against your current system — see the same cycle computed both ways, difference by difference, before you trust anything.
  • Real influence over the roadmap, while it's still wet cement.

What we ask

  • A real process you'd want built — a promotion cycle, a comp cycle, an onboarding flow.
  • A short weekly feedback conversation.
  • Honesty when something doesn't work. That's the value.
  • Optionally — reference rights, only if we've earned them.

Why the systems that manage people are about to be replaced by systems that understand them — and what that shift demands of the record underneath.

Building the Expertise Factory

How organizations can systematically grow expertise instead of renting it — and measure that it's actually happening.

Thirty minutes. Founders only. No pitch deck.

Bring the process you wish your current system could run. We'll talk through what it would look like here, show you the working prototype live, and tell you honestly whether we're a fit — including when we're not.

  • You'll meet a founder — the people building it, not a sales team.
  • Live demo of the working prototype, driven by your questions.
  • A conversation is not a commitment, in either direction.

Not ready to talk? Leave your name.

Tell us the process you'd build first and we'll be in touch as design-partner spots and early access open up.

We'll only use this to talk to you about Talent Concepts.
